Very nice , calming and quiet. A beautiful church stood near the very top of Maldon' s historic town.

A very interesting church with a unique triangular tower and hexagonal steeple from the Norman period.Statues in the niches of the outside walls commemorate six notable men in some way associated with the history of Maldon including Cedd, the Bishop of the East Saxons in 653 AD and Brightnorth, hero of the battle of Maldon in 991 when the Danes defeated the Saxons.
