Trying to get an appointment increases one's blood pressure. Before new management I used to be able to drive to practice at 07:00, queue up and make a morning appointment at 07:30 in person rather than ATTEMPT to make one via telephone at 08:00. *That has now stopped.*There is only 1 receptionist instead of 2 now.Monty Python: Jan 2019 just after Christmas break - I drive to surgery at 07:45 to try to make appointment. Wife is at home waiting until 08:00 to try via telephone ( we know she will have trouble). Lots of admin staff arrive at 07:55. SINGLE receptionist sees queue of over 20 people waiting until she will start talking to them them at 08:03 Three minutes late whilst she was twiddling her thumbs previously.I am ninth in queue. At 08:27 I am able to make appointment.Wife had been trying on 'phone but HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH. *********WHY do away with 07:30 face to face opportunity to make an appointment Mr and Mrs new managers.Even MacDonalds put extra staff on at busy times. You don't. *********You have 1 receptionist now and 1 phone line.*This is NOT progress and it is NOT good enough when more and more houses are being built.Oh, there was a lady that brought a coffee to receptionist at 08:05Perhaps lady could have manned the reception or a 2nd phone line instead? Coffee so soon after breakfast is not a priority.*I am young. How would elderly people be able to keep dialling a number for an hour whilst I'll in order to make an appointment?Maybe they will DIE trying. Poor show; as shown by your ratings compared to national average. *****NEW MANAGEMENT PLEASE !
I have been trying to phone the surgery all day. It's either engaged or I get cut off or hang in a queue for 10mins. I called 111 instead and my husband is now in Broomfield hospital. I just got a text saying he failed to attend his appointment for this afternoon. I just tried phoning again but can't get through. You failed my husband.2 days later and I'm still trying to contact surgery. The lines are busy.
Because of their diligence my two cancers were discovered and after treatment my life continues.
Great team just wish theyd answer the phone
I couldnt recommend this surgery more. My daughter is 5 months old and they have seen her without question every time I have called even out of hours. It doesnt take long to get through to them via phone, Ive always let like the Doctors care as they dont rush you out of there like other surgeries. Fantastic team of Doctors, nurses and reception staff.
