Quite simply one of the best sausage sandwiches I've ever had, and I'm 43. I'd like to think I know a fair bit about good food and service. I own an award winning pub in North London, have a degree in hotel and restaurant management, and have worked in 5 star hotels for 20 years. Granary bread thickly sliced and wonderfully fresh and soft, good quality sausages and butter and that's it. Perfection. Worth a trip to Maldon in its own right. Don't change a thing. Wife said the coffee was excellent too.
A brilliant little place. Lots of seating, both indoors and out. Love the decor, food is tasty and fairly priced too. Very welcoming to cyclists and well staffed too. So short ques and quick service! Keep up the great work guys (I mean girls).
