Good sandwiches, presented well, friendly service and good for the kids
Have been a few times and had to wait for service as the staff were busy chatting. Jacket potato under cooked. Very noisy due to high ceilings.. Not their fault but it doesn't make for a quiet meeting place.
Unfortunately I wasn't blown away by Sophie's Kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful so absolutely no issues there but I felt the food let them down.I ordered a bacon sandwich (hard to get wrong) but the bread was incredibly stodgy and I ended up eating it as an item sandwich.Also, their menu states American style waffles with bacon and maple syrup, however you get 1 waffle with a small drizzle of syrup.As I said, you can't fault the service but a little more focus on the food would be great.(As a side note, the cakes looked fantastic but we didn't have anything)
Excellent food menu, large selection of teas and plenty of cake. Great service and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit, big windows perfect for people watching
